“What Is It That You Think The Vipers Do Best? ”

2023/24

I’ll say it again, so glad we made this move to the NJ Vipers! The girls play great together. Although they stumble, they pick themselves up and keep going strong!!!! They worked so well and hard together today and won both games and the fact that Bobby (owner of the organization) shows up and supports his organization at yesterday’s tournament <blows my mind! It was awesome to see him present! Thanks again to our coaches also as they are bringing out the best in each and every one of these girls! Go Vipers!

#

#33

“Communication is great”

#

#32

“In the beginning, practices were more a verbalization to players in situations that may occur in live play. I was hoping it would be players doing mock plays instead of just verbalizing to girls what to do and that IS being done as practices went on. Some players learn well visuals than verbal. It does benefit players. The practices more than one a week, a plus. “

#

#17

“Hi! Just wanted to send over a quick note and say how pleased we are with the off-season work, sessions offered, and time that has gone into our girls this winter! Between the first tourney of the season, and first 2 rec games this week, we have seen incredible progress. It’s evident that her coaches and the Vipers organization have helped her grow into the confident and strong athlete she is and is becoming! As a first season player, we were not sure what to expect, and were looking forward to the start of the season for months…and it did NOT disappoint! We are so impressed with this program and how it has helped develop (our daughter’s) skills. She looks totally different on the field than she did when she started with the Vipers this pas fall. Thank you for helping instill confidence in her, and for helping her grow as an athlete!”

On why our player missed a town travel event to attend a Viper practice. Here is how the parent described the conversation:

“She needed to be with family to feel better about her game. The fact one of the alumni coaches were there and highlighted something made her very happy and the trip worth it. That is what we offer…community and a sense of belonging!”

“I have to say, I was a little leary going into the (Pitching & Defense) meeting, but boy was I wrong! As I’ve said, I have a son who has been in travel (“club”) and has played on 3 teams now under 5-7 different coaches. Across these years and programs, not a single organization leader has brought the members together for any reason, let alone to share their “special sauce,” if you will, in terms of how to approach games and more specifically individual batters/plays.
I came away feeling so validated and inspired in our decision to become part of a Viper Family. The ROI we get all around is truly unparalleled!”

We went to our 2nd college showcase camp yesterday in Morristown, NJ. There were AM & PM sessions with Q&A. DI-D3 schools. All of the coaches there reiterated what you have been telling the girls for years; that attitude & sportsmanship can make or break a college offer.
The coaches have walked away from amazing athletes because they did not like their on-field interactions. They also touched on many other things that The Vipers discussed in last year’s Alumni Q&A.
I am confident we are part of a great softball organization and so happy we have amazing coaches.”

As a parent you have to realize it’s not all about your child getting a softball scholarship into a big time school, it’s about them playing a game they love. Learning to be part of a team, learning the game the right way and most importantly making life long memories and great friends. The Vipers organization exemplifies that.

1st and foremost thank you for allowing my daughter to be a part of your program. She loves the coaches and everything else the program encompasses. As a Dad that’s all I can ask for. As a former athlete I am very comfortable and believe in everything I see and hear. She is a Viper and it’s all she talks about. So again, much gratitude to you and the Viper organization.
